Micro Fiber Internet Terms of Service

This page is used to inform our customers regarding our policies with the provision of internet service.

If you choose to use our services, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this Policy. The Personal Information that we collect are used for providing and improving our services. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Policy and our Privacy Policy.

Information Collection, Use and Privacy

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to your name, phone number, address and payment information. The information that we collect will be used to contact, identify and bill you.

We want to inform you that whenever you use our services, we collect information that your browser sends to us that is called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser version, pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

Services Provided

At the time of writing Four Computer LLC offers high speed internet service to customers within our coverage zone at the advertized prices plus taxes and fees.

When a customer chooses to sign up for service they will be presented with multiple options for speed and the respective price of service.  Once the customer has selected their plan an installation date will be set and service will commence on that date.

Payment of the customers first month of service is due prior to or on the day of service installation.  In the event of a pre-order a customer will be required to pay for their first month of service in advance without an installation date scheduled, the customer will be contacted once services are ready to be installed and an installation date will be scheduled.  The due amount will consist of the plan premium the customer has selected and any taxes and or fees associated with the service chosen.

Equipment

At the time of installation a service connection will be brought down to the customers facility via aerial cable that is connected to the primary fiber strand which is hung from a nearby AEP power pole.  The connection MUST be mounted to the customer's facility via standard screw methods and grounded for safety.  A service disconnect box MUST be mounted on the exterior of the customer's facility for maintenance purposes and the service fiber strand will then be routed into the customer's home by whatever means are necessary.  A modem/router will be installed inside the customer's facility to provide WiFi connectivity and Ethernet connectivity. 

Your Responsibilities

As a customer you are responsible for the following:

  • To allow service technicians egress onto your property or into your home.
  • To take care of service equipment.
  • To pay due balances on time that are associated with your account.
  • Not perform any action that is against the terms of service or otherwise illegal.

We want to inform our customers that should these responsibilities not be met their service may be terminated.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Service Outages and Rebates

Our Service may in some circumstances be unavailable.  In the event of a service outage which is planned for maintenance purposes customers affected will be notified before service is disconnected.

In the event of an unexpected service outage that spans a considerable amount of time rebates will be issued to customers affected.  Rebates are calculated at a rate of $2.60 per every 24 hours service is not available.  If service is restored before a 24 hour period has completed, no rebates will be issued for that period.

Stopping Service

Our Services do not require a contract and as such can be canceled at any time, however a minimum of the first months service charge is required and is non refundable even if service was canceled before installation.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
